The lid rocks on the bowl

The lid or the bowl is out of round, often after a fall (owner reports, TVWBB). Turn the lid a quarter on the bowl and try again, then turn the bowl and repeat: if it rocks in every position, one of them is out of shape. Weber has replaced lids for owners under the warranty. Weber gives no reshaping method; owners who reshape a lid by hand do it at their own risk.
