Weber UK's temperature guide and the manual:

• Ash blocking the bowl vents: sweep with the One-Touch and empty the catcher.
• Vents closed: open the bowl vents and the lid damper fully.
• Too little or damp charcoal: add lit charcoal from a chimney; keep charcoal dry.
• Lid opened often: each lift lets the heat out. Keep it closed.
