Replace the One-Touch blades

Fit kit 7444

Weber's kit 7444 "includes damper blades, control rod, hardware and installation instructions" (£39.99 UK, $27.99 US). Owners say it comes with a new handle and hub (TVWBB, 2023).

  1. Buy kit 7444; it fits all 57 cm One-Touch kettles.
  2. With the kettle cold, lift out both grates and take off the ash catcher.
  3. Look at how the hub is fixed at the bowl centre before you undo anything.
  4. Take out the old blades, hub and control rod as the kit's sheet shows.
  5. Fit the new parts as the sheet shows, blades in their numbered order 1 to 3.
  6. Move the handle through all 4 settings and check the blades sweep over the vents.
