Replace the cooking or charcoal grate

Lift out, drop in

No tools. Parts from Weber UK's shop.

1. With the kettle cold, lift out the cooking grate by its curved handles.
2. Unhook the Char-Rails and lift out the charcoal grate.
3. Check the Char-Rails while they are out.
4. Lay in the new charcoal grate, 7441 (43 cm).
5. Hook the Char-Rails back on and push them down until they snap over the 4th wire.
6. Fit the new cooking grate, plated 8835 or stainless 8843, with its insert.
