What Weber lets an owner do
Gas parts, and genuine parts
The manual: do not repair gas-carrying, gas-burning, ignition or structural parts without contacting Weber Customer Service. Weber's 2025 notice adds: take special care, and if you cannot do it yourself or the law where you live forbids it, use a Weber Service Partner or a certified gas installer.
- Owner jobs in the manual: cleaning (grates, bars, deflectors, burner ports, spider screens, cookbox, grease system), the leak test, changing the cylinder, the igniter battery and wires, and the flow-limiter reset.
- Lift-out parts: grates, Flavorizer bars and heat deflectors need no tools.
- Not described for owners: burners, igniter, manifold, valves.
- Genuine parts: in the UK and EU, non-Weber parts void the warranty. The 2023 US manual says third-party parts do not void it, but they and any damage they cause are not covered.
Weber UK's shop sells only the Flavorizer bars, the hose and regulator, drip pans, grates and covers online. Order the rest from Weber UK customer service with the number from the parts list.
