Replace the hose and regulator

UK: a new 91470 every 5 years

The manual: do not repair gas-carrying, gas-burning, ignition or structural parts without contacting Weber Customer Service. Weber's 2025 notice adds: take special care, and if you cannot do it yourself or the law where you live forbids it, use a Weber Service Partner or a certified gas installer.

The manual (UK and EU): replace the hose assembly every 5 years. Weber gives no step-by-step for it; these steps are the fitting order (the manual, pages 8 and 10) reversed, then forward.

  1. Turn every knob off and close the cylinder valve.
  2. Open the doors and take the regulator off the cylinder.
  3. Take out the hose bracket's 1 Phillips screw.
  4. Undo the hose nut at the bulkhead with a spanner and take the old hose and regulator out.
  5. Fit the new hose and regulator 91470: nut onto the bulkhead, bracket and screw back.
  6. Refit the regulator and leak-test every joint.
