Check the hose and regulator

Look before every cook

The manual's every-cook check.

  1. Open the doors.
  2. Look along the hose for cracks, cuts, abrasions or chewing.
  3. Check the regulator sits fully on the cylinder valve and is not damaged.
  4. A damaged hose: do not use the grill. Fit a new Weber hose and regulator (replace it).
  5. UK and EU: Weber recommends a new hose and regulator every 5 years, sooner where local rules say so.
  6. Keep the vent openings round the cylinder clear.
