Thick white smoke at start

Thick white or yellow smoke at start-up

The manual, page 3: this is pellet overflow, a firepot full of pellets only partly burning.

• Switch off at the main power switch, or unplug.
• Do not start the shut-down cycle and do not open the lid.
• Stay away until the smoke clears and the grill cools.
• Then empty the firepot and the hopper, purge the auger with Prime Auger, refill and prime.
