Traeger support: swings of about ±14 °C (±25 °F) are normal in good weather. Beyond that:

• Poor pellets or sawdust in the hopper.
• The lid opened often.
• Foil or a liner blocking the air round the drip tray.
• The chimney cap too high or too low.
• A dirty grill.
