The fan is noisy

The fan clicks, squeaks or shrieks

Traeger support, "Pellet Grill Sounds". On D2 grills the fan cycling on and off at start-up is normal.

• Click: a wire touching the blades. Pull it clear and tie it back.
• Squeak: dirt. Clean it; support suggests a little WD-40 on the hub, only with the grill unplugged.
• Shriek: a failed bearing. Replace the fan (KIT0411).
