Grease fire: what to do now

The manual's DANGER box on page 3.

1. Close the lid and the hopper lid. Use a non-combustible tool to close the lid from a distance if you need to.
2. Unplug the grill straight away, only if you can do so safely.
3. Move away. Do not move the grill.
4. Do not throw water on it and do not try to smother it.
5. If the fire escapes the grill, use an ABC fire extinguisher. If it is out of control, call the fire service.
6. Afterwards, once cold: take everything out, clean the whole grease path and the firepot, refit and restart.
