The fire goes out mid-cook
The fire goes out mid-cook (LEr)
The manual, pages 5, 18 and 21. When the fire goes out the display shows LEr after 10 minutes below 49 °C (120 °F).
- The hopper ran out, or the pellets bridged (formed a tunnel) above the auger: stir and refill.
- The auger jammed, usually with wet pellets.
- A bad start or shut-down.
The manual: switch off, unplug, let it cool, take out the inside parts and clear every unburnt pellet and the ash from the firepot and barrel before you restart. Then do the test fire. Restarting onto a firepot full of pellets can overflow them and cause a fire.
