- Fuel: wood pellets for pellet grills only; never petrol, lighter fluid or heating pellets.
- Ash: cold, into a metal bin with a tight lid; never water into the firepot.
- Auger: The manual: never put your hand in or near the auger, and do no work on or around it while the grill is switched on or plugged in.

What Traeger covers
The manual, page 30, and its German edition. Grills built after October 2021 carry Traeger's 7-year limited warranty, part by part; the 2015 manual gave 3 years, parts only. It runs from purchase from Traeger or an authorised dealer, needs proof of purchase, and covers parts only: you fit them, with Traeger's instructions. EU grills sold in 2017 through the importer BBQ-Scout carried its 3-year guarantee on top of the 2-year legal term.
