Natural gas conversion (US and Canada only)
Open it up
US and Canada only: the Natural Gas Conversion Kit (UU-P0BA00 US, UU-P1D000 Canada) fits the propane Koda 16 sold there; it is not for UK or EU ovens. The kit manual: "Consult a local gas specialist to assist with conversion and set up." Natural gas is still an outdoor fuel: Outdoors only. The manual: never in a building, garage or any enclosed area, and never on or under a balcony or deck. Burning gas makes carbon monoxide, which you cannot see or smell.
Turn the oven off, shut the gas, let it cool, and undo the propane hose nut anticlockwise with a 19 mm (3/4 in) spanner.
Take the stone out, fold the legs, and lay the oven upside down on a soft surface.
Pull the knob off the valve.
Undo the 2 collar screws anticlockwise with a Phillips screwdriver. Keep the propane collar.
Undo the 12 housing screws (11 × 6 mm, 1 × 10 mm) and keep them.
Lift the black housing off and set it aside.
Swap the nozzles and set the flow
The kit manual.
Unscrew the 2 nozzle housings from the injector tubes, anticlockwise, with a 14 mm (9/16 in) spanner or by hand.
With the kit's hex wrench, unscrew each propane nozzle (1.11 mm) and keep them. Fit the natural-gas nozzles (1.75 mm) hand-tight, then a quarter-turn more. Do not over-tighten.
Screw the housings back into the injector tubes hand-tight, then a quarter-turn with the 14 mm spanner.
On the gas control fitting, turn the valve adjuster 5 to 7 full turns anticlockwise with the kit's screwdriver.
Close it up and connect
The kit manual.
Refit the housing so the gas terminal and valve stem come through, and tighten the 12 screws clockwise until secure. Do not over-tighten.
Fit the natural-gas collar lined up with the knob, tighten both screws, and push the knob on.
Screw end B of the natural-gas hose onto the gas terminal by hand, then a quarter-turn clockwise with the 19 mm spanner.
Turn the oven upright, unfold the legs and put the stone back.
Join end A of the hose to the quick connector, and the connector to your natural-gas outlet (3/8 in NPT male).
Leak test: a rushing sound means shut the gas off at once. Then soapy water on the supply, terminal and hose joints. Never light it with a leak.
