Check the hose and regulator

The manual and the help centre ("Gas hose and regulator maintenance").

1. Before each use, check the hose for cuts, cracks, splits, bulges, soft spots, sun-hardening and chewing.
2. Check the regulator for cracks, corrosion, a blocked vent or a poor fit. In Australia, also check its O-ring (AU manual).
3. Replace the hose by the expiry date printed on it, or sooner if your country's rules say so. Ooni gives no fixed interval.
4. Replace the regulator if the flame changes: low, pulsing, or making odd noises (help centre).
5. Clean both with a damp soapy cloth. Never soak the regulator, and never repair or modify either.
6. Leak test after any change.
