What you can and cannot service

The manual: "Do not repair or replace any part of the oven unless specifically recommended in this manual. All other service should be referred to a qualified technician." And: "Do not modify the appliance." The Essentials Guide adds that any modification invalidates the warranty.

• Owner jobs: cleaning the burner, cleaning the piezo and thermocouple, and changing a UK regulator.
• No Ooni method opens the Koda 12. Ooni's help centre has a flame safety (FSD) bolt fix for the Koda 16 and other ovens, but none for the Koda 12. If it keeps going out, contact Ooni support (it may be under warranty) or a gas engineer.
• A qualified agency only: the fixed propane tank conversion (North America manual).
• Ooni support only: the stone, burner, valve, thermocouple, knob and legs. No spares are sold online.
• Not possible: natural gas. Ooni: the Koda 12 burns propane only.
