Take the inside out and brush it

The quick start guide: "Occasionally removing all the components from the unit and cleaning the grill with a brush."

1. Lift out the Smart Grid System, then the basket and charcoal grate.
2. Lift the fire ring out with both hands, keeping it clear of the rim. It weighs 8.9 kg.
3. Lift the 5 firebox segments out one by one (2.3 kg each).
4. Lift out the frame and tip the ash into a bucket.
5. Brush or vacuum out the base and the dome. No water or liquids (the manual).
6. Refit everything in the manual's order: see fit the inside parts.
