Deep clean inside

Take the inside out and brush it

The quick start guide: "Occasionally removing all the components from the unit and cleaning the grill with a brush."

1. Lift out the grid (and the deflector and its lift), then the charcoal grate.
2. Lift the fire ring out with both hands, keeping it clear of the rim.
3. Lift the one-piece firebox out the same way.
4. Lift the protector stone off the base floor last.
5. Brush or vacuum out the base and the lid. No water or liquids (the manual).
6. Refit everything in the manual's order, protector stone first: see fit the inside parts.
