Replace the thermometer

Change the dome thermometer

Replacement thermometer: 201057-C/L (83 mm dial).

  1. Let the grill go cold.
  2. Open the dome and look at the stem inside to see how it is fixed.
  3. Hold the dial outside and undo that fixing.
  4. Push the new stem through from outside and refit the fixing snugly.
  5. Check it: in boiling water it should read about 100 °C. This check is common practice; Monolith gives none.
