Clean the grates, SGS and stones
Stainless grates and the stones
The manual and the quick start guide.
Brush the stainless grates while they are still hot.
Lift them out with the grid lifter (206000), in gloves.
Wash them in the dishwasher if you like (the manual). Brown or blue heat tint is normal.
Scrape the deflector stones with a brush or a hob scraper. Black stains soak in and are harmless.
Wrap the stones in foil when you cook without a drip tray (the quick start guide).
Cast-iron grid and charcoal grate
For a cast-iron grid or plancha, from the 2019 FAQ (Monolith's cast-iron advice predates the Pro 2.0 but the parts are the same); the charcoal grate from the manual.
Brush a cast-iron grid while hot with a brass brush.
Wipe it with a thin coat of high-smoke-point oil.
Clean it with water only, never soap.
If it rusts: wire-brush it, oil it and burn it in at about 250 °C.
Brush the charcoal grate and oil it thinly now and then (the manual).
