The Classic Pro-Series 2.0 (item 121001, here on its cart with two bamboo side tables): a ceramic charcoal grill (a kamado) with a 44 cm cooking grid. It was Monolith's most popular grill. What marks the Pro 2.0: stainless bands with a fibreglass gasket, a hinge with an offset pivot, a cast-iron cap with a slide, a five-piece firebox, the Smart Grid System and a port for a BBQ Guru fan. Pick a job. All sections brings you back here.
Monolith replaced the Classic Pro 2.0 with the TWO.55 in 2025. The TWO.55 keeps the same 44 cm grid, the same gasket, the same cast-iron cap and the Guru port, so many of these jobs carry over to it. This guide covers the Pro 2.0 that most owners have.
Everything follows Monolith's Pro-Serie 2.0 manual ("the manual", German only) and the 2025 quick start guide. Monolith's 2019 FAQ and 2016 hinge sheet were written for older grills, and each step that uses them says so. The dome is heavy and held open by springs. The manual: "Do not underestimate the high weight of the lid." Never just let go of it when you close it, keep hands and tools out from between dome and base, and replace damaged springs at once.
