Fit the handle

Fit the front handle

The 2024 manual (step 1, insets 1A and 1B): the handle comes loose in the box and you fit it. Earlier Joe Jr.s came with it fitted.

1. Find the two studs on the front of the upper band.
2. Hold the handle so its two brackets go over the studs, the bar hanging over the seam.
3. Put a washer, then a nut, on each stud.
4. Tighten both nuts with an 8 mm spanner.
5. Check the handle does not move, and check the nuts again after the first fire.
