Draft door

Free a sticking draft door

Kamado Joe gives no method for the draft door; this is common owner practice.

1. With the grill cold, brush ash out of the frame's top and bottom lips, where the door slides.
2. Slide the door from end to end: it should move freely.
3. If the frame is bent or loose, it is held by four cross-head screws, one in each corner (photos; size not published).
4. Replace a bent door: KJ-DD13.
