Grates, deflectors and the rack

From the manual and Kamado Joe's cleaning video.

1. After the cook, open the dome. Above 175 °C (350 °F), lift the dome 5 to 8 cm for about 5 seconds before you open it fully, face and body clear.
2. Lift the grates with the grill gripper and turn them over the fire to burn off.
3. Brush them before the next cook, then wipe them with an oiled cloth.
4. Flip the deflectors dirty side down for the next cook: the manual says the fire cleans that side.
5. Leave the Divide & Conquer rack to the clean burn: Kamado Joe gives no other method.
