Adjust the latch

Tighten or loosen the latch

The manual: the latch is preset for an ultra-tight seal. Adjust it only when smoke leaks at the front with a good gasket.

1. Find the set screw in the latch plate.
2. Undo it with a small Allen key to lower the latch plate.
3. Add the spacer.
4. Refit the plate by tightening the set screw: right to tighten, left to loosen (2019 edition).
5. Close the latch and check the seal all round.
