The flame went out while cooking

If the flame goes out, gas may still be flowing: turn the control dial off and close the cylinder valve at once, then wait 5 minutes before you relight (the manual).

• Wind: turn the back of the oven to the wind; a wind break must be more than 45 cm away (2016 book).
• Empty cylinder: change it, then leak test.

The standard UK and EU home burner probably has no flame failure device, so gas can keep flowing after the flame dies.
