Replace the thermometer

Fit a new thermometer, AR1411

Gozney sells the thermometer as AR1411 and says it "can be screwed into position". Gozney's fitting video could not be viewed, so the steps are general.

1. Let the oven go cold.
2. Look at how your thermometer is held before you touch it.
3. Unscrew the old thermometer and draw its probe out from under the stone, keeping it straight.
4. Feed the new probe in the same way and screw it into position.
5. On the next firing, check it climbs to 300 °C in about the usual time.
