Leak test with soapy water
The soapy-water leak test
When: before the first use, every time the cylinder is changed or refilled, and every time you undo any gas fitting (the manual). Never look for a leak with a flame.
Turn the control dial off. No flames, sparks or smoking nearby.
Brush or spray soapy water on the Roccbox connection, where the hose meets the burner.
Do the same at the hose connection on the regulator and the valve connection on the cylinder, and on any cracked part of the hose.
Open the cylinder valve and watch for growing bubbles.
Bubbles at the Roccbox connection: close the valve, re-tighten the fitting and test again. If they keep coming, do not use the oven.
Bubbles at the valve connection: take the regulator off and test again with a different cylinder.
