Free a burner stuck on the oven

The help centre's method ("My gas burner is stuck on").

1. Let the oven and burner go cold, and close the cylinder valve.
2. Try to twist the burner off by hand, the opposite way to fitting it.
3. If it will not move, tap it gently with a rubber mallet, then try again.
4. Still stuck: undo the screws of the plate that holds the rope seal, with a hex key.
5. Take the plate off: this should release the burner.
6. Refit the rope seal and plate, then the burner, and leak test it.
