First firing and curing

Cure it on low, then heat it up

The current manuals show this in pictures; the 2016 book gives the words.

1. Check the velcro strap is off and the oven mouth is clear.
2. Check the leak test has passed.
3. Light the burner and turn the dial to its lowest flame.
4. Run it on low for 30 minutes: this cures the oven.
5. Turn it up to high for 15 to 20 minutes, until the thermometer reads 300 °C.
6. Cook, or turn it off.
