Weekly dock and venturi check
Check the dock and the venturi
The manual (p. 64): "It's good practice to check the inside of the dock for debris regularly (weekly)." The venturi is the air tube that feeds the burner; it is not modelled, so its label sits on the ignition module beside it.
- Turn the oven off, disconnect the gas and let it cool.
- Slide the thermometer display out of the dock.
- Look inside for debris, insects and nests.
- Vacuum any debris out of the venturi with a plastic nozzle.
- Leave the gas valve, injector, flame failure device and igniter wires alone: "Do not interact with the gas system".
- Refit the display, reconnect the gas and leak test it.
