The display and its buttons

The manual (pp. 27 to 33).

1. Push the display fully into the dock.
2. Hold the power button until it shows ON; hold it again to turn it off. The power button on the back of the display also works, but cannot pair accessories.
3. Switch between AIR and FLOOR with their buttons.
4. Press the timer to start or pause it; hold it to reset.
5. Tap the unit symbol to change °C and °F. The backlight has 3 levels.
6. Turn ECO on if you want it to sleep after 45 minutes.

Meat probes

The manual (pp. 34 and 35). Two twin meat probes come in the box.

1. Pull the silicone plug out of probe port I or II.
2. Plug the probe in and push its tip into the food.
3. Read it on the display: probes I and II show at the left of the window.
4. Clean the probes in hot soapy water and dry them. Never put them under water or in the dishwasher.
5. Push the silicone plugs back into the ports, and keep the probes indoors.
