A new stone: what is known

The help centre: "the 30mm Cordierete stone is removable and replaceable in two pieces". Each kit holds the stone, a stone adjustment tool, a "landing bay protective screen" and protective gloves (Gozney's store). Gozney publishes no method for lifting a stone out, and no Gen 2 video; ask Gozney before you start.

• What is known: the stones are loose, the burner guard and duct grate sit on them, and the stone adjustment tool pulls them forward. Work only on a cold oven, with gloves: cordierite edges are sharp and chip easily.
• After fitting: pull the stones together and centre them, refit the guard and grate, and run a curing fire.
