Remove the rear dock panel

Take off the rear dock panel

The manual (pp. 67 and 68) names the rear plastic dock panel as the way to more room when you change a temperature probe. The panel and its two screws are on the model, low on the back of the dock.

1. Let the oven go cold and disconnect the gas.
2. Slide the thermometer display out.
3. Find the 2 Torx screws that hold the plastic panel at the back of the dock.
4. Undo them with a Torx driver that fits exactly.
5. Lift the panel away. Do not touch the gas pipe, valve or burner.
6. Keep the screws safe, and refit the panel and screws when you have finished.
