Move it safely

Outdoors only for home use. Never in a building, garage, tent, vehicle, boat, or under a balcony or deck. Never cover the oven mouth while it is lit, and never cover the slots and holes in the base or the dock (no foil): the fumes contain carbon monoxide (the manual).

1. Let it cool to 45 °C: allow at least 3 hours.
2. Turn off the gas, take off the regulator and hose, and put the inlet cap on.
3. Take off anything loose: flue, rain cap, door, meat probes.
4. Plan the route, clear it, and check the oven fits through.
5. Lift with four people by the hand holds on the base only.
6. On the stand: release the castor brakes, roll it slowly, and lock the brakes again.
