Know the oven
The body, the mouth and the inside
Tap a part to see what it does. The names are Gozney's. "Left" and "right" in this guide are as you face the mouth: gas on the left, wood on the right.
Inside it is 604 × 498 mm and 226 mm high. The maximum temperature is 500 °C (950 °F) (help centre).
The dock and the controls
Everything you touch to cook is on the front of the dock: buttons, probe ports, display and dial. The gas comes in at the back right.
The flame failure device (a safety valve that shuts the gas if the flame goes out) is fitted on the Gen 2 in every country.
The gas and the flue
The flue takes the smoke and fumes up and away from the mouth. There is no damper on the Gen 2.
Under any roof, even a pergola or canopy, the oven needs a flue specified and fitted by a certified flue engineer: see covered areas.
