Fit the batteries

Igniter battery and display battery

The manual (p. 42) and the "First firing on gas" and "Setting up" videos.

  1. Slide the thermometer display out of the front of the dock.
  2. Unscrew the cap on the ignition module behind it.
  3. Put in 1 AAA battery, negative end first, and screw the cap back on.
  4. Charge the display's battery with a USB-C cable.
  5. Fit the charged battery into the back of the display.
  6. Push the display fully back into the dock and hold the power button until it shows ON.
