Gozney Dome Maintenance Guide
Gozney Dome (Gen 2)
The Dome (Gen 2): Gozney's hybrid-fuel stone-floor oven, launched in September 2025 and now the only Dome on sale. It burns propane (natural gas in the US and Canada) or wood and charcoal, but never both at once. This guide follows the Off Black propane version (GMPOBUK1625 in the UK, GMPOBUS1625 in the US); the Bone and natural-gas versions share the same body.
The Gen 1 Dome differs. The original Dome (2020 to 2025) has its gas burner under the back left of the stone, an ash tray, a clip-on display and a different flue, and Gen 1 parts and accessories do not fit the Gen 2. If your oven has no enclosed black base (the dock) with a display and a dial on its front, this is not your guide.
Everything follows Gozney's Gen 2 manuals (the UK/EU edition of January 2026, DOC-1412-03, first; then the October 2025 UK, US/CA and German editions) and Gozney's help centre. Owner, reviewer and retailer methods are named where they are used.
Outdoors only for home use. Never in a building, garage, tent, vehicle, boat, or under a balcony or deck. Never cover the oven mouth while it is lit, and never cover the slots and holes in the base or the dock (no foil): the fumes contain carbon monoxide (the manual).
