Weekly dock check

Look inside the dock

The manual (p. 46): "It's good practice to check the inside of the dock for debris regularly"; the UK/EU edition adds "(weekly). Do not interact with the gas system."

1. Turn the oven off, disconnect the gas and let it cool.
2. Pull the display off the dock.
3. Look into the bay and round the base of the dock for debris, insects and nests.
4. Clear anything blocking the 50 mm round the base: the burner draws its air there.
5. Leave the gas valve, injector, flame failure device and wires alone.
6. Refit the display, reconnect the gas and leak test it.
