Replace the oven probe

The manual (p. 49). First push the jack fully into the back of the display: a loose jack also shows E1.

1. Only when the oven is cold: disconnect the gas, pull the display off and unplug the cable.
2. Gently roll the oven onto its side, left side down, and take the bottom panel off.
3. Unscrew the old probe with a spanner.
4. Screw in the new one and thread its cable back through to the front of the oven.
5. Refit the bottom panel and its 8 screws, and roll the oven upright.
6. Plug the cable into the display, refit it, switch on and check there is no E1.
