Before and after each cook

The manual (pp. 5, 8, 20, 21 and 33).

1. Before you light it, check the hose and connections for cuts, cracks and wear.
2. Check the oven, burner and venturi for blockages, including insect nests (wasps, bees, ants).
3. Check the stone sits forward with no gap at the front, with the burner guard and flue outlet in place.
4. Keep children and pets away, and never leave the oven lit and unattended.
5. Turn it off: cylinder valve off first, wait 3 minutes, then turn the control dial to off.
6. Let it cool: it stays hot for a few hours. Never move or cover it while warm.

The UK/EU manual adds: vacuum loose debris out with a plastic nozzle after each use, so it does not move about in transport.
