Before storing it

Cool, cap and cover it

  1. Let it cool completely, so no condensation forms under a cover.
  2. Close the cylinder valve and take the regulator off.
  3. Put the cap back on the gas inlet whenever the hose is off.
  4. Keep the cylinder outdoors, never in a building or garage, and never near the oven.
  5. Keep the oven under cover, away from rain. Gozney's Arc cover (AA1787 / AA1788) is the Arc's own size: the Arc XL's cover does not fit it.
  6. Store it somewhere dry: the UK/EU manual says a low-humidity place.
