Hose and regulator

Check and replace the hose and regulator

The manual (pp. 33 to 38). The hose and regulator are one Gozney spare per country: UK PM2138 (37 mbar click-fit, the same set as the Dome), Germany PD1706 (50 mbar screw-fit), US and Canada PD1281 (screw-fit).

  1. Check the hose along its length before each use. Abrasion, wear, cuts or leaks mean replace it before you cook.
  2. Check the regulator and the coupler for damage, and keep the regulator out of direct sun.
  3. Close the cylinder valve and take the regulator off. UK click-fit: lever horizontal, press the button and lift. Screw-fit: unscrew it by hand.
  4. Pull back the collar on the coupler to free the hose from the gas inlet.
  5. Fit the new Gozney set as in connect the gas.
  6. Leak test every joint.
