Cook it well: New York style

New York style: lower flame, longer bake

A reviewer's method (Tom's Guide, on the Arc), with the band from the manual.

  1. Heat the oven on high until the stone is hot, as for Neapolitan.
  2. Turn the dial right down, towards 7 o'clock.
  3. Let it settle in the display's New York band, 320 to 370 °C (600 to 700 °F); Tom's Guide held about 370 to 400 °C (700 to 750 °F).
  4. Bake for 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Turn it as it browns on the burner side.
