Rake out the ash

BGE US and UK, with BGE Europe's cautions.

1. Only when the charcoal is out and the fire box is cold (BGE Europe).
2. Rake the old charcoal with the Ash Tool so ash drops through the fire grate.
3. Open the draft door and slide the mesh screen open: BGE Europe says only for cold ash.
4. Scoop the ash out with the Ash Tool into the ash pan (106049).
5. Put any warm embers out in a bucket of sand or water, away from the EGG (BGE US).
6. Leave a thin layer of ash in the fire box: BGE Europe says it slows the temperature rise.
