Big Green Egg's manuals are wordless pictures: the 2020 "EGG & Band M" manual for the partly assembled Medium, the Small and Medium Nest sheet and the acacia Mates sheet. No Medium band-kit manual was found, so the band and hinge screens read the Large's 2026 kit manual (117984) and say so. Written methods come from Big Green Egg's three voices: BGE US (biggreenegg.com), BGE Europe (biggreenegg.eu) and BGE UK (Alfresco Concepts, biggreenegg.co.uk, the only BGE step lists for the gasket, band and dome). Ace Hardware, a BGE dealer, gives the spanner for each nut. Owner reports are marked. Nothing here was checked on an EGG.

Not settled, and flagged where they appear: clean-burn and cooking limits (BGE Europe 275 °C, BGE UK 300 °C, BGE US rated to 399 °C); the first-cook limit; the re-tighten interval (1 month or 90 days); band height and whether the Medium kit has spacer tabs; torque; spring safety (no BGE wording); gasket glue, solvent and edge; the thermometer nut; the Nest removal tools; the draft door frame screws; the serial number's location; freeing a frozen dome; the dome and base weights; the Nest's height; the base, convEGGtor and band kit numbers. The thermometer size (2 in) is read from BGE's photos and dealers. The beer-can chicken is Tom Kerridge's recipe on biggreenegg.co.uk; its 75 °C probe check is UK food-safety guidance, not BGE's.

Sizes: Big Green Egg gives 52 kg for the Medium egg (BGE US and the spec sheet; BGE Europe 51 kg) and 72 cm high (BGE Europe), a 15 in (38 cm) grid and 177 sq in (BGE US; BGE Europe's 40 cm is taken as a rounding, as its own 1140 cm² is a 38 cm circle). The 3D model's egg is traced from the Medium spec sheet's drawing and checked against two Big Green Egg studio photos: about 462 mm across the ceramic (470 across the bands), the seam 422.5 mm above the underside and the rEGGulator tip about 708 mm up. About 1288 mm wide at the Mates tips and 1105 mm high on the Nest are from the model; the Nest's height is measured on one photo (±20 mm), as BGE publishes none.
